We thank you very much for your support and interest in Coseley Technology Primary, and so it is with disappointment that we inform you that the opening, initially scheduled for September 2024, is now postponed to September 2025.
The reason behind this delay is the discovery of additional mineshafts during a recent survey conducted as part of the construction process. Once remedial works to ensure the safety and stability of the site are complete, work on the main building can commence and we will share updates via our school website and social media channels.
We are sure that you will share in our disappointment at this news, especially considering the fantastic interest and enthusiasm that we have experienced when speaking to families and the local community about our plans over the last year. However, our commitment to ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for our students remains unwavering.
If you have applied to Coseley Technology Primary for a place in our first reception cohort, please be assured that the local authority will continue to process your application for other primary schools in order of preference and you will have received communication from the Department For Education about this.
